Artists: Nevermind - Nirvana Tribute
Nevermind is an active touring tribute to one of the most popular grunge bands of all time: NIRVANA. Formed in 1991, this power trio of siblings has the chemistry, stage presence, and sound to match Nirvana. The band has over 80 songs in their catalogue. They also offer the entire MTV Unplugged in New York acoustic show (complete with a cellist) which is now considered a classic amongst rock critics and Nirvana fans alike.
Nevermind's 2006-2008 tours have taken them across the country. Arkansas, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Arizona, Missouri, Alabama, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Iowa, Georgia, New York, Florida, Texas, California are just a few states where the band has performed. Nevermind has even been to Monterrey, Mexico making them a truly international band.
Despite Nirvana's tragic ending their music is still extremely relevant in today's media. Songs by the trio have been featured in popular video games such as Baseball 2K7 and Guitar Hero II, and television shows like ABC's "Lost" and CBS's "Cold Case". The band’s influence can even be found in footwear (Kurt Cobain Converse Shoes).
Nevermind has performed hundreds of events including concerts sponsored by Jack Daniels, Miller Brewing Co., Coors, Microsoft (Xbox), Scion, PAWS (Atlanta), 99X (Atlanta), 99.5 The X (North Carolina) Rock 105 (North Carolina) and many others. A younger generation of fans are discovering Nirvana, creating demand for Nevermind's Tribute show.
