Peet cut his teeth at Denver's famous Squire Lounge, known as one of the meanest mics in the country. Training in unforgiving dive bars made him lean and mean when it was time to hit the proper comedy venues, and this training regimen shows in his act.
His charismatic performance style mixed with razor-sharp wit and fresh perspective make him a joy to watch. His infectious energy comes through not only in his unconventional material, but also in quick-thinking, playful crowdwork. He's as excited to perform as the crowd is to see him.
Two standup videos filmed 6 months after he started performing went viral and received over 120,000 views through only word of mouth, then a third video got 56,000 views in one day and surpassed 100,000 soon after.
After only 8 months of standup and being featured in the city newspaper, he was named one of the top 10 comics of Colorado in a statewide contest against over 300 other performers.
Since moving to Los Angeles, he has become a paid regular at the Hollywood and Irvine Improv clubs, Laugh Factory, Comedy Store, and Ice House. He was chosen by Michael Showalter to host a new MTV game show, "Best Worst Choice", which is currently in development.
Peet caught the attention of ComedyJuice, the most prestigious standup show on the west coast, and has performed with: Daniel Tosh, Dave Attell,
Aziz Ansari, Doug Benson, Nick Swardson, Dane Cook, Sarah Silverman, Craig Robinson, Kevin Nealon, and many more stars of the standup comedy world.
